Nancy B. Finn is a thought leader writer and author focusing on the effective use of digital communication technology in healthcare. She has just released an updated version of her most recent book, e-Patients Live Longer, The Complete guide to Managing Your Healthcare Using Technology, 2011, 2014, which provides tips and suggestions on best practices for using digital communication technology for safer better health management and outcomes. She often writes for the Journal for Participatory Medicine and for e-patients.net. For several years Nancy held senior corporate marketing/marketing communication positions in high tech, publishing and financial services. She has also taught communication courses at leading universities in the Greater Boston area including Boston University, Bentley College, Suffolk University and Leslie University. She has written three other books: Digital Communication in the Medical Practice, (co-author William F. Bria, MD) published in May 2009, by Springer Publishing,Ltd. This book focuses on the applications of electronic health records, email, the Internet, telemedicine, privacy issues, and other facets of digital technology in medicine. Her other books include The Electronic Office,published in 1983 by Prentice Hall and Writing Dynamics, published in 1980 by the CBI division of Van Nostrand Rheinhold. Nancy has been a speaker at many national forums on communication technology topics. She also contributed a chapter: Finn NB.
