Nick Braker is a degreed Computer Scientist from the University of Evansville who somehow traded in clean code and server racks for sprawling interstellar wars, time-travel paradoxes, and Ryikoda-fueled romance. After a long career in software engineering, architecture, and management, he finally surrendered to the voices in his head—most of them alien—and started writing the Galactic Magnus series. A proud husband, father of two, and grandfather of three, Nick somehow balances family life with the occasional all-night writing binge where deadlines and black coffee collide. When he’s not wrestling plot holes or arguing with his characters (who rarely listen), you’ll find him dominating the table tennis table or disappearing into VR with his wife for adventures that don’t involve saving (or accidentally dooming) entire planets. He lives in Ohio, still checks his email like it’s 1998, and remains convinced that the right combination of coffee, family, and chaos is the secret to finishing the next book. Readers can expect high-octane sci-fi with heart, humor, and the occasional heartfelt reminder that even galactic tyrants were once just guys trying to do the right thing.
