P.C. Thomas was born in 1963 in a convent in Hennef an der Sieg. Shortly after starting school, books began to exert a certain fascination on her. It culminated in her rewriting the endings of her favorite books when she didn't like them.

Despite starting out in a pious setting, she didn't become a nun, but a sister nonetheless, and after training in the nursing field, she made her way to Oberbergisches Land for the next three decades. After a stopover of several years in Hesse, the mother of three children, now grown up, now lives and works again in the Oberbergische Kreis.
