A veteran of the consulting, technology, entertainment, and sports marketing industries, Parker Lee currently serves as managing partner at Territory, Inc. Lee approaches his work as a business design “impresario,” applying his experience to design and direct large-scale interdisciplinary projects for corporate clients and management teams.

Prior to cofounding Territory, Lee was president and EVP of business development at XPLANE and led the company's sales and marketing efforts, driving significant annual growth and delivering innovative design-thinking engagements for global clients during his eight-year tenure.

Lee has been actively designing organizations for better performance since the 70s. During the “dot-com” era, Lee acted as vice president of business development for four pre-IPO technology companies. He also led sales and licensing efforts for FeatureCast, a producer and syndicator of online digital content, and served as general manager and vice president of sales for eCal, a calendaring technology platform.

During his career, Lee pioneered the use of social media by leading the development and implementation of online marketing and communications for the California State Democratic Party during the 2004 election.

Prior to breaking into the technology field, Lee enjoyed a varied career in the entertainment and sports industries. Notably, in the 1980s, he served as director of entertainment and special events for Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel and Casino and as agent for cycling star Greg LeMond.

Lee has worked with dozens of global clients, including Cisco, Microsoft, BP, Shell, Intel, Nike, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Autodesk, PayPal, The Economist, UNICEF, The World Bank, Genentech, AT&T, Michelin, and many more. He has led many workshops, facilitated events, and provided consulting services for the design consultancy.

Lee holds a bachelor’s degree in organization development and long-range planning from the University of California, Davis. He is a past co-chairman of Portland’s Business Committee for the Arts, a past board chairman of the Optical Storage Technology Association (OSTA), and a past board chairman of the San Francisco non-profit organizations Theatre Bay Area and Dance Through Time.
