I was born with aviation in my veins, I believe. After a somewhat distracting career in retail and then the City, I have returned to my true love - flying. I have written several articles for other aviation magazines over the years, and edited the magazine Air Pilot for a while. Unsurprisingly my books have a high aviation content. I am also drawn to strong characters, and the subject of my latest book, Passion for Speed, certainly ticks both those boxes.
Aside from writing, I am a very active investor, love military history, the countryside, good food and wine, skiing, sailing, cycling and walking. Any opportunity to mix that lot is a bonus. My website Sky & Bullets contains reviews of many aviation and military titles.
