Penny was born in South East London. She has written several traditionally published novels, as well as short stories and articles. "Tideline' was a Richard and Judy Summer read. and "I Thought I Knew You" won the East Anglian book of the year prize for fiction. It was also optioned three times by 51 Entertainment in the US.
"The Ingenious Miss Sly" is her first venture into self publishing.
Penny has two grown up daughters, a son and four granddaughters. Fascinated by fhe complexities of human relationships, family dynamics, and the darker side of our personalities, swimming in cold water is where she gets her best, and often most frightening ideas.
