Her short fiction and nonfiction have appeared in magazines, an anthology of writing about HIV/AIDS, Art & Understanding: Literature from the First Twenty Years of A & U and the anthology Fingernails Across the Blackboard: Poetry and Prose on HIV/AIDS from the Black Diaspora. She received her MFA in writing and literature from Bennington College. She has taught writing at Emerson College and Boston College.
