Ranjan Banerjee is an engineer(IIT Bombay) and MBA (IIM Calcutta) with a PHD from the Carlson School, University of Minnesota, USA. He calls himself an 'academic hybrid' having straddled the worlds of academia and business for over 20 years. He is currently Dean and Professor , Marketing at S P Jain Institute of Management and Research, a premier business school. He is an internationally acclaimed teacher, speaker (Tedx and more), writer and corporate consultant, and has taught across four continents. He has contributed articles for Harvard Business Review and many leading business magazines. He is passionate about teaching, design thinking, lifelong learning, bathroom singing and cricket. He claims that his students are his greatest teachers, and sees a strong conceptual link between leading and teaching.
