Rodney E. Whittington Jr. is an experienced healthcare leader with over twenty years of service in long-term care administration. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Method Healthcare, focusing on improving care quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across healthcare communities. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences and Gerontology from Kansas State University. Throughout his career, Rodney has led multiple organizations to achieve top-tier outcomes, including consistent Five-Star CMS ratings and zero deficiency surveys. Previously, he served as CEO of Villa St. Francis, Kansas’s largest Medicaid-sponsored long-term care provider. His work emphasized high-performance team development, resident-centered care, and organizational stability. The American Healthcare Association has recognized Rodney as a future leader of long-term care. He is a certified Health Services Executive and was a Leadership Fellow with LeadingAge Kansas. He also served as Vice President of the Kansas Healthcare Association, supporting statewide healthcare policy and advocacy efforts. In addition to his administrative leadership, Rodney mentors future healthcare professionals as a Preceptor, promotes person-directed care models through public speaking engagements, and contributes to statewide committees focused on enhancing care standards. He also participates in Informal Dispute Resolution panels, underscoring his commitment to fair and rigorous oversight.
