Hello there. I'm Rozzi!

My creative journey has been a bit of a winding path, and I've loved every minute of it. Before writing books full-time, I spent years in the entertainment world. I wrote scripts, libretti, and songs for the theatre—including two stage musicals—and I was a regular contributor to the Arts pages of one of Australia's largest newspapers.

Before that, my life revolved around music! I had my own bands in a few genres and was a session singer in recording studios, backing some of Australia’s best-known singers. I performed all over Australia and internationally and lent my voice to everything from soap and sunglasses to face cream and dog food commercials.

Eventually, I returned to study and graduated from Melbourne University with a major in Romance languages, Linguistics, and Fine Arts. My deep love for reading and history inspired my first book, Hector—a thoroughly researched biography of the legendary Australian TV mogul, Hector Crawford.

After that, my lifelong love for fiction took over! In 2021, I published my first time-shift mystery romance, The Piano Woman. I then dove into the world of crime fiction with the Detective Sergeant Bec Harpin series, which includes Making Up Amanda and One Night. I'm also thrilled to share that my third Bec Harpin book, Shooting Reality, is out on September 5th.

These days, my husband, our beautiful standard poodle and I call beautiful Ballarat home. If you're ever around Lake Wendouree, you'll likely spot me walking the track, dreaming up the plot for my next story!
