Her first thriller, The Young Widows, was plotted over a single dinner with her husband, who was nervous that after ten years of writing happily ever afters she suddenly wanted to write about murder. Now she writes twisty, female-centric mysteries and can often be found pondering the perfect way to kill someone. She lives in Toronto with her husband, where she writes with a glorious view of Lake Ontario and her coffee machine at arm’s reach.
