Saffa Khan is an artist and educator working across illustration, ceramics and print to explore material storytelling in the grounding, ritualistic relationships between humans and the natural world.
Born in Pakistan, based in Glasgow, Scotland, Saffa has been working as a community art worker and risograph technician where she creates ceramics from foraged materials, designs publications and facilitates workshops surrounding alternative methods of creative education within DIY/self publishing culture for people of all ages and abilities.
Saffa is the illustrator of Like The Moon, Loves The Sky by Hena Khan, The Wonders We Seek by Saadia Faruqi and Aneesa Mumtaz and contributing illustrator of Amazing Muslims Who Changed the World by Burhana Islam and Proud by Juno Dawson.
