SALLY H. JACOBS is a prize-winning journalist and author. She worked for The Boston Globe for close to three decades and is the author of The Other Barack, The Bold and Reckless Life of President Obama's Father, a biography of Barack Obama's father. She is also the author of the forthcoming book Althea: The Life of tennis champion Althea Gibson to be published by St. Martin's press in 2023. She is the recipient of a George Polk Award and was a member of the Globe's newsroom staff which won a 2014 Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of the Boston Marathon bombing.
