Because of the healing Sandi Gold received, this classically trained fine artist is not only a writer (Her book "I Chose Love” will be available in 2024), but she’s certified Expressive Art Specialist, has a Kripalu Holistic Teacher’s Certification and is a Certified Kiloby Inquires Facilitator (which she used to address her her traumas.) As a contribution to her hometown she co-founded the Artists’ Cooperative of Westerly which is still thriving after 20 plus years. She’s been featured on ABC’s News Show 20/20, profiled in People Magazine, The New York Times, Boston Globe, USA Today and in hundreds of newspapers throughout the country. She’s been interviewed on National Public Radio and Connecticut Public Radio, been the keynote speaker at the Calgary Cancer Center in Canada, spoken at Brown University, the Brain Tumor Society in Boston, and many hospitals and schools. Sandi was nominated for the National Athena Award and received a Rhode Island Citation Award and The State House of Representative Citation
