Dr. Sonja Mitrevska (Schwartzbach) is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and Advanced Practice Nurse with ten years of nursing experience. With a background in English Literature before becoming a nurse, Dr. Schwartzbach fulfilled a goal by her 30th birthday of becoming a published author. Her first book, “Oh Sh*t, I Almost Killed You! A Little Book of Big Things Nursing School Forgot to Teach You” has sold over 150,000 copies, and she has written on behalf of numerous nursing and lifestyle outlets including “The Huffington Post.” Her second book “Coffee with My Dead Mother: Lessons on Loss, Hope, and Navigating a New Normal” is set for release in February 2022, followed by her third book “You Won’t Feel a Thing: The Drama, Tragedy, & Comedy of Nursing” in April 2022.
