Steve Rohr is a widely-recognized Canadian/American Communication expert, author, TEDx speaker, educator and Hollywood publicist. He frequently appears in US, Canadian, and UK media covering a variety of Communication topics. Steve is a regular guest on Canada's #1 national daytime TV talk show "The Social" (CTV) and #1 national "The Morning Show" (Global TV). In the UK, Steve has made multiple appearances on the #1 breakfast show, "Good Morning Britain" (ITV). In addition, he has appeared on local TV across North America, notably in Toronto, Chicago, Phoenix, Vancouver, Edmonton, Portland, Calgary, Austin, Nashville, Tulsa, Fargo and New Haven/Hartford. On radio, Steve is the regular "go-to" Communication expert for "The Night Side" on #1 Newstalk 1010 (Toronto and IHeartCanada). Steve is the coauthor of the best-selling "Scared Speechless: 9 Ways to Conquer Your Fears and Captivate Your Audience" (Career Press, 2016) with noted psychologist Dr. Shirley Impellizzeri ("The Doctors," "Dr. Drew)", with whom he co-hosted a successful psychology radio show for almost three years. "Scared Speechless" is a Foreword Reviews "Book of the Year" winner (Self-Help). A sought-after speaker, Steve was the closing speaker for TEDxFargo 2017. As an educator, Steve taught Communication and PR on several Southern California campuses including Cal State Long Beach, Loyola Marymount University, MiraCosta College, Saddleback College and Rio Hondo College. For part of the year, Steve is the Show Publicist for the Academy Awards, overseeing domestic and international publicity for the telecast broadcast live to 225 countries. He holds a B.A. in Communication, Political Science, and Art from Concordia College (Moorhead, MN) and serves on the National Alumni Board. He earned an M.A. in Communication from Arizona State University.
