Tania Witte lives and writes mainly in Berlin (Germany) and preferably in The Hague (The Netherlands). She has received numerous (inter)national prizes and grants for her work; her works have won numerous awards - most recently, "Marilu" was awarded the Mannheim Feuergriffel and "Die Stille zwischen den Sekunden“ was awarded the KIMI Seal for Diversity in Young Adult Literature.Under her pseudonym Ella Blix (together with Antje Wagner), she received one of the prestigious work grants of the German Literature Fund in 2020.
