Dr. Tara Dew is the President's wife of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, LA. At NOBTS, she is also an adjunct professor in the ministry to women program, as well as the Director of THRIVE (a Ministry Wives Certificate Program). Tara is a Bible teacher, author, and speaker, who is invited to women’s events and retreats throughout the United States. Two of her lifelong passions are women and God’s Word! Tara has loved Jesus for as long as she can remember. She was blessed to be raised in a Christian home by godly parents, and trusted Jesus to be her Savior when she was only five years old at a Billy Graham Crusade. She met her husband, Jamie, in her church’s high school youth group, and they were married 6 years later. They have been blessed with two sets of twins: Natalie & Nathan and Samuel & Samantha. Raising four teenagers makes their house loud and fun! She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Human Communication with a K-6 Licensure, a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning Elementary Education, and a Doctorate in Education (specializing in the training of women for ministry).
