Trini Amador is co-owner of Gracianna Winery, a“fruit-first” craftsman’s winery in the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County. The winery was founded on the principles of his great-grandmother, Gracianna Lasaga, the subject of this book, who would prepare simple but gracious meals that always included wine—her meal presentations were delivered with grace and gratitude, and that is what today’s descendants aim to keep alive through their world-class wines.

For the past fifteen years, Amador has also been a principal at BHC Consulting, which specializes in brand strategy, research, and insights development. Global brands like General Electric, Microsoft, AT&T, Yahoo!, Mattel, Inc., Google, Jack Daniel’s, and Rodale, Inc. have benefited from his counsel.
