Vicki Conrad grew up reading and cherishing all of Beverly Cleary's books. She became a teacher with a passion for literacy development, but always dreamed of writing children's books. She is honored to tell the story of Beverly Cleary's life. Just Like Beverly, is her first book. When she is not writing or teaching, she is traveling the world, growing a garden, and dreaming up new stories. She has called Seattle home for many years.
