Vicki DeArmon has produced the World's Ugliest Dog® Contest for the Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma for the last seven years. The World's Ugliest Dogs book celebrates the history of this world renowned contest from her insider's perspective, offering a perfect blend of humor and love of dogs. She's proud of the contest's efforts to promote the adoption of shelter and rescue dogs. She's made a life in books, first as the publisher of Foghorn Press, and currently as marketing and events director for Copperfield's Books. For 30 years, she has produced events, but none so whimsical and fun as the World's Ugliest Dog ® Contest. She lives with her family and their lab Chloe, in Petaluma, Calif.
