Victoria Hume is a writer of young adult science fiction. Her debut novel, Solartopia, was published in October 2023. Inspired by her work as an ecologist, she writes about imagined futures where strange plants grow unchecked. Winner of Undiscovered Voices 2022 for her unpublished novel, Planetdown. She lives in Brighton with her husband and son but can be mostly found out in the countryside hunting for interesting species.
