She is also a Senior Lecturer in Journalism at Kingston University, where she teaches storytelling and helps develop the next generation of writers, journalists, and broadcasters.

Victoria lives on an island in the River Thames with her husband, two children, and their cat. When she is not writing, she enjoys gardening, singing, exploring historic places, and uncovering the forgotten stories that often inspire her novels.
