Wes Adams is the Founder and CEO of SV Consulting Group. He is co-author of Meaningful Work: How to Ignite Passion and Performance in Every Employee (PublicAffairs/Hachette). Wes works with high-performing companies to build organizational resilience, develop leadership excellence, and deepen employee engagement through a meaningful work lens. He brings more than two decades of experience as a successful entrepreneur and strategic partner for Fortune 500s, startups, and NGOs. His clients include Microsoft, KPMG, BlackRock, and Viacom, along with a range of startups and scaling organizations. He has hired and developed talent on five continents and built thriving teams located around the globe. Wes has been featured at South by Southwest Interactive and the Nobel Peace Prize Forum, and his work has been covered by the New York Times, BBC News, Forbes, Business Insider, and Fast Company. Wes has led teams winning multiple Webby Awards and recognition as one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Brands. His early career was spent launching and managing high-profile hospitality businesses for which he was nominated twice for a coveted James Beard Award. Prior to founding SV, Wes advised brands such as Google, Audi, Starbucks, and the United Nations at Purpose, the world’s leading social impact agency. As COO of the company's incubator arm, he also launched All Out, a tech- focused, global advocacy organization, which is now the world’s largest community of people fighting for LGBTQ+ equality. Wes trained as a Master Facilitator for the Penn Resilience Program, the world’s leading provider of resilience skills for business, healthcare, government, and law enforcement. Wes is passionate about social impact. He helped produce a documentary for HBO, The Out List, and a book highlighting leaders in sustainability space, I Am EcoWarrior. He is a board member of CHRIS 180, a leading provider of mental health and social services to people in the greater Atlanta area. Wes is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and holds a Master’s from University of Pennsylvania in Applied Positive Psychology.
