Bill Hanke is an ordained minister, motivational speaker, author, encourager, and second-generation United States Air Force veteran.

His message was forged through seasons of unexpected change, personal loss, delayed dreams, and mountains that seemed impossible to overcome. Through those experiences, Bill discovered that the obstacles standing in our way are not always meant to defeat us. Sometimes they are the very things God uses to develop the courage, faith, and strength He placed within us.

In God, Give Me My Mountain: Discovering the Courage to Step Into Your Destiny, Bill draws upon honesty, biblical encouragement, and practical insight to remind readers that the dream is still alive, the calling remains, and the mountain is still waiting.

The question is: Are you willing to climb?

Bill’s heart is especially drawn to those who believe they have missed their opportunity, that the most meaningful part of their lives is behind them, or that, because life happened, they have lost their purpose. His message is simple: Your story isn’t over. God’s purpose for your life has not ended. It is your time to climb.

Bill and his wife, Dori, live in North Texas.
