About this listen

Alison and her resident gumshoe ghost are on their next case when the deceased Scott MacFarlane floats in worried that he accidentally killed a prominent local woman. Turns out she's still alive...that is, of course, until she's murdered - in Alison's house. Editorial Reviews

When Alison Kerby bought a huge Victorian house in the New Jersey town of Harbor Haven, she didn't know that it already contained two permanent residents: eccentric ghosts named Paul and Maxie. So Alison only had one choice. She turned the house into a haunted bed and breakfast for senior citizens looking for a "unique vacation experience". In this second Haunted Guesthouse Mystery, E. J. Copperman's witty and accessible heroine helps solve a murder case - with the help of her paranormal colleagues.

Amanda Ronconi is an experienced comedic performer, and this audiobook is right up her alley. The dialogue, ghostly hijinks, and offbeat escapades are all enhanced by her excellent pacing and varied voices.

Oohh... I'm really enjoying this cozy mystery series and especially listening to the Audiobooks is such a vibe because I love going on a wild search along with Alison and her ghostly investigators to find the culprit of the crime.

This second book takes us along as we see that Alison is finally ready to welcome guests in her newly renovated Guesthouse.
She's glad that everything is on line but the appearance of a new ghost sets things in motion that once again puts Alison in the hot seat.

A seance that was supposed to be a great experience for the guests makes way for an unknown crime and everyone is now a suspect that were in the room, including Alison.

In addition to the guests, there's a TV crew filming for a reality show and Alison has to deal with their dramatics and be on the edge because anyone from the guests could be the unaliver but her hands are tied for lack of evidence.

AHH... I had so much fun listening to this cozy mystery ride. Things become complicated as new clues surface and a ghost that Alison can't see but it started all with him.

Alison, her daughter Melissa, her mother and yes, our resident ghosts: Paul and Maxine all team up to help out (ofcourse Melissa is not really involved but her quick wit helps her mommy from time to time or sometimes messes things up😉)

That Twist at the end.... OH MY GOODNESS.... Now that I didn't see at all coming and I absolutely loved the twist.
This is what you call, hits you out of left field because that twist had my jaw dropping and I loved how it all unfolds. Can't wait to dive in the next one. Loved this one.

The most shocking twist.. Loved it
