Publisher's Summary

Sunlight is beginning to spill across the Malibu coastline as I begin this preface. And the deep indigo tint of the Pacific Ocean at this time of the morning seems to match the depth of pleasure I'm feeling as I'm imagining the value you're about to receive from the revelations within this book.

Ask and It Is Given is certainly a book about our ''asking'' being answered by all-that-is. But it's primarily about how whatever we're asking for is being given to us - and it's also the first book to ever, in such clear terminology, give us the simple practical formula for how to ask for, and then how to receive, whatever we want to be, do, or have. Decades ago, while searching for plausible answers to my never-ending quest to know what ''it'' is all about, I discovered the word ineffable (meaning ''incapable of being expressed in words''). Ineffable coincided with a conclusion I'd formed relative to it. I had decided that the closer we get to knowing the ''non-physical,'' the fewer words we have for clearly expressing it. And so, any state of complete knowing would also, therefore, be a state of ineffability. In other words, at this point in our time-space reality the non-physical cannot be clearly expressed with physical words. Throughout physical history, we've evolved to, through, and into billions of philosophies, religions, opinions, and beliefs. Yet, with the billions upon billions of thinkers thinking, concluding, and passing their beliefs on to the next generations, we have not - at least not in any words we can agree on - found physical words to express the non-physical.

This book offers you a hands-on course in spiritual practicality. It's a how-to book in the broadest sense of the term - that is, how to be, do, or have anything that pleases you. This book also teaches you how not to be, do, or have anything that displeases you.-Jerry

Book is missing narration from process #17 onward

This book narration is missing the last chapter 4 (process#17 onward). I had to buy the volume 2 of this book separately to listen the remaining book. Will be more careful to buy audio books from audible now. They are just missing their standard. Book is good though.

Awesome audio book and nice narration

This book is one of the best book available on law of attraction. You a cannot understand by reading or listening it once. You have listen it again and again to understand and apply those techniques. Thank you abraham and esther and jerry hicks. love you.

I had to turn it off

I pushed myself to listen into chapter 2 and then I had to turn it off. It’s Incredibly monotonous and repetitive. Perhaps reading the book is better but the narrator actually repeats the same story over and over again. I thought I had somehow rewound The Audible because if I heard him mention the metaphor about driving in a a car at 100 miles an hour and hitting a tree 20 more times I would have screamed.

If you’re interested in how your thoughts are vibrations and how to manifest your desires check out Neville Goddard. Although there are a lot of references to the Bible, his explanation of how imagination creates reality is a lot more easily digestible.

great processes given in the book.

I can see myself listening to this 100 times a year. The first time just listen, second time take short notes and write down chapters that inspired the note. Third time do one of the processes and repeat it then review and observe how things begin to come to you or signs and yearnings or hunches lead you to where you need to be.

Inspirational and appreciated

I enjoyed hearing the reading! At first I had to slow the speed to 0.75x but then after I adjusted to the speed of his speech, I went back to 1.0x and it was good. I appreciate this book so much that I bought the physical copy and I intend to read it as well. Thank you, Abraham, Jerry and Esther!

Great explanation of Law of Attraction

I expected Esther Hicks to narrate because I always listen to her released workshops on YouTube. It was interesting listening to her husband Jerry narrate the text, knowing full well that he passed away not too long ago. I really enjoyed hearing the teachings on Law of Attraction in this organized format. It clarifies a lot, and is one of the best trusted resources when Im envisioning a goal, prospect, or anything else I want!

A great book with good messages and tips

Great book that reminds one to be grateful & let the universe deal with your wants and desires. Few points on improvements- I felt the reader was reading a bit too fast / rushed. The book could have given more examples / stories on Allowing. A lot of people know & ask for what they want... but I bet they don’t know how to Allow.....
Overall, I am grateful for the messages.

Must Read for all Creators!!

I thought this would be yet another redundant “law of attraction” or “The Secret” book, which also served their purpose by the way, but this book was delightful...it is much like an advanced course on Manifesting!! Thank you!!

Change the way you think

I really enjoyed this audio book, I have taken onboard some of the messages and I am choosing my thoughts more carefully, and although I have not seen anything I desire manifest just yet, I do feel happier. I will repeat again in a few weeks. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to open their mind and discover inner happiness.

Really good! However

This is a really great book, however for someone new to manifestation and LOA, I found it quite confusing at parts. Definitely a book for more than a one time read!

Superb content but chapters are missing in audio

I thoroughly enjoyed the listen; however, I was disappointed with the end of the Audible version. The audio books continent ends after Part 2 Process 16 Pivoting. The remaining processes up to 22 and the end of the book are not there.

Absolute rubbish

I feel a bit ashamed of myself for buying this. Anyone with any life experience knows that a lot of the law of attraction is complete rubbish. I foolishly thought this book would offer something more having sent it recommended. It has zero depth. The whole book is basically just a variation of riffs on the idea your thoughts create your life. If you just ramble to yourself about this idea for a few hours you will get as much benefit as reading this book. Don’t know they can get away with charging for this stuff (though obviously I was fooled). The narrator also isn’t great.

Can listen on a loop

I thought that having Jerry read this would be off-putting as I am more used to Esther's voice but it didn't make a difference at all and the message shone through!

recommendation

I have enjoyed the book and love that the processes are broken down and it is explained how to use them ,i will be going back to these sections , i can also see where this book and teachings has influenced other books out there on the market but this one goes into the finer details.

Hmm.

Whilst I love the work and messages of Esther and Jerry Hicks, I am really disappointed with this one. So far, it seems as though it is Ask and It Is Given (Parts 1 & 2) combined. Even they (the separate parts) had some repetition.

They could have released this first instead of marketing it as a follow on. I then wouldn't have been slugged two credits for the others. I could be wrong about this but even the chapters look identical.

I'd had enough of the repetition from Joe Vitale's books.

However, the message is unchanged and wonderful.

Great message but audible version incomplete

The audible version is missing the last 10 or so steps (the book refers to 22 steps but stops at step 13 or so)...

But the Abraham Hicks works are always great

LOVE LOVE LOVE

Simple & easy if you follow the laws & take action. Ask the universe for what you want & expect to receive it.
