The apocalypse will be televised!

A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible.

In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground.

The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot. A dungeon so enormous, it circles the entire globe.

Only a few dare venture inside. But once you're in, you can't get out. And what's worse, each level has a time limit. You have but days to find a staircase to the next level down, or it's game over. In this game, it's not about your strength or your dexterity. It's about your followers, your views. Your clout. It's about building an audience and killing those goblins with style.

You can't just survive here. You gotta survive big.

You gotta fight with vigor, with excitement. You gotta make them stand up and cheer. And if you do have that "it" factor, you may just find yourself with a following. That's the only way to truly survive in this game - with the help of the loot boxes dropped upon you by the generous benefactors watching from across the galaxy.

They call it Dungeon Crawler World. But for Carl, it's anything but a game.

My first foray into LitRPG. Never listened or cared for a LitRPG before, until I came across a Reddit thread talking about DCC.

Voice Acting was top-notch, especially Carl was well done.

Anyways, I had way too much fun with this book. Onto the next book in the series.

First GameLit and I loved it

Took me a while to pick up because of the name but was so worth the credit when I started.

Jumps into the action right away and goes on.

Nice setup, quite funny, great pace, likeable characters, great narration, make it a very easy and entertaining read.

Go for it, all the 5 star reviews are on point

Don’t be put off by the name. This one is all action full entertainment

The title may make you think this is some cheesy or genric Litrpg. First of all the narration is insane. Its leagues above anything I've ever heard. Also, the story is amazing. It hooks you in from the get go. The pacing is really good and humor is on point, it never feels overdone and the writing is just perfect. This is my second listen the the way the Matt Dinniman sets up the whole overarching plot is kind of unbelievable. It never feels like something happened for no reason. If there is a chekov's gun in the plot, it will go off for sure. It'll go off either some chapters later or some books later. Overall very polished writing. Greatest audiobook series of all time.

Don't judge the book from its title.

Oh, I'm so ridiculously thrilled to start this series in audiobook. The performance was at its best. Can't wait to dive into the second one.

Goddammit Donut!

My first audiobook. And i certainly chose the right one. 8/10. Its not my first time into LitRPG, what stands out the most in DCC is that the humour elevates it to a whole new level.
