Stay Where Thought Breathes is a philosophical lecture series transcribed into written language, in which spoken thought becomes a written movement of being.
The work explores the continuation of being through body, sound, memory, movement, and lineage. It follows the movement that begins in the maternal body and continues through the body of another, through care, help, sound, and the shared space of being.
Here, lineage is not limited to physical blood relation. A lineage may continue through a shared sound space, through a vibration that passes from one body to another and allows one body to become a continuation of another. What appears to leave the physical body may continue as movement, sound, memory, and bodily presence on another level of being.
The work explores how the body is formed through this continuity: how the mother's movement becomes the movement of the child, how the movement of help can later become an inner movement, and how the same movement may appear in our relation to another person, an animal, or to ourselves.
Sound becomes another form of bodily presence. What cannot be seen by the eye may still be heard as a body. The sound space becomes a place where a body can continue beyond its visible form, where another body can become a continuation of one's lineage, and where a new form of lineage can emerge beyond direct physical inheritance.
Stay Where Thought Breathes is a philosophical movement from the maternal body to the individual body, from physical lineage to spiritual lineage, and from bodily dependence toward another form of existence in which sound, vibration, care, and memory become a continuing space of being.
