Luc O'Donnell is tangentially - and reluctantly - famous. His rock-star parents split when he was young, and the father he's never met spent the next 20 years cruising in and out of rehab. To clean up his image, Luc has to find a nice normal relationship...and Oliver Blackwood is as nice and normal as they come. He's a barrister, an ethical vegetarian, and someone who has never inspired a moment of scandal in his life. In other words, he’s perfect boyfriend material. Unfortunately, apart from being gay, single, and really really in need of a date for a big event, Luc and Oliver have nothing in common. So they strike a deal to be publicity-friendly (fake) boyfriends until the dust settles. Then they can go their separate ways and pretend it never happened.
But the thing about fake-dating is that it can feel a lot like real-dating. And that's when you get used to someone...start falling for them...don't ever want to let them go.

Fantastic!
I have been re-listening to my favourite parts of this audio book for a whole month now. Love the characters 😍 And Joe Jamson (the reader) is doing an amazing job

The narrator is amazing, the work/performance is unbelievable.

Oliver is AMAZING!!!
Took me a while to get into the book but once Oliver came in, I was sold. Great characters(especially the friend circle), swoon worthy romance and a healthy dose of character development. Wonderful read.

Mind blowing hilarious performance
The book was hilarious, funny, heartfelt and totally engaging! Best romcom I have listened to.. where there is equal contribution to romance and comedy!
Great job by the narrator. He did justice to the cacophony of characters and their voices. In couple of places though, he mistakenly misused the modulation of the male leads but that is not going to diminish the other brilliance he brought in!!

I loved everything about this book.. the story, the narration by Joe Jameson, and I absolutely love Luc and Oliver. I didn’t think I smiled this much listening to an audiobook. 💖

Really enjoyed it
The story was engrossing enough for me to finish the book in just a couple sittings, and the narration was quite good as well. Will recommend for those who want something light and fun to listen to while doing chores.

Joe Jameson brings this story to life like no one else could
The book is so well written and is so funny that it clearly would climb the list to be your top favourites soon. However, what Joe Jameson has done with the book is altogether a different story! He makes u smile and almost nod along and interact while listening to him! I’m in love with him! What a performer!!

Humorous and so Endearing!
Had read the book and still enjoyed the narration! Really related to how Alexis Hall describes Romantic feeling and the deep insecurities one can face in becoming close to someone!
