Adventures of a Modern Kingmaker

Chanakya in You is the charming, lighthearted and yet profound tale of a man inspired by his grandfather to seek the wisdom of the Arthashastra.

Like many of us in our youth, the young man has no idea what he wants to do with his life. He lives aimlessly from one day to the next - his is only passion is studying the Arthashastra.

When he decides to pursue this passion in all seriousness, it proves to be the turning point of his life! Journey with this modern-day disciple of Chanakya's age-old wisdom as he applies the Arthashastra principles in every aspect of his life, becoming the richest man in the world and inspiring a whole nation to take up study of Sanskrit and ancient Indian literature for business success.

Interestingly, this book does not have a single character with a name. The story is about you and your journey through life. While you listen, you may well find yourself walking the hero's path to bring out the Chanakya inside you.

The book can be heard by a parent and a young adult, by a business tycoon or an academic scholar with equal ease. It's a book for the people, a book that makes you think. With short chapters and easy-to-understand language, you cannot put down the book till you discover the Chanakya in You!

Nothing about Chanakya or Arthshastra - Waste!!

This book is a classic example why modern Indian literature has no takers. There is nothing about this book that I can appreciate...

Story: It is actually more like a diary of self obeeseed author who thinks he is doing something above the worldly acts to study Arthshastra. in fact, there is no Chankaya or Arthshasthra in the body of the text, its just class 8 writing of author who essays his life events in a most boring manner.

Narration: Pathetic!! As if an essay is being dictated in class! No pitch, no tempo, no emotion, no captivity!!

Recommendation: Big No No! Absolute waste of time.

I didn't like it at all

The book becomes hilarious but in a frustrating way. the author is telling a story of a person how he became from nothing to everything but according to the author the guy has no problems in his path whatever he is doing it's turning gold. my question is where are the struggles. For me it was a complete let down or I couldn't understand what the author is trying to convey.

An awesome and an additive book

Loved the book and the audible version of the book. Dr. Pillai's writings supported by soothing and apt narration by Mr. Kanchan Bhattacharya makes the book additive and peaceful to listen.
