Story
Ever hear the story about the bodyguard who falls for the rock star? Yeah, it never ends well. Each day I remind myself that it's my job to protect Stone. And nowhere in the job description does it say I should lust after the charismatic, charming man. Especially since we're opposites. But every night I spend with him the dangerous, off-limits attraction grows more intense. Until one night in a limo when we combust. One time only will have to be enough. One scorching, forbidden night. Because the mistakes from the past are chasing me. And if I give in again, I'll lose everything.

Panther and Solo 💙💛💙💛
I was so excited to see both books of this series are finally out on Audible. I loved the ebooks. This new series by Ella and Brooke is nothing short of hot and brilliant. Fighter plane pilots. Alpha male personalities. The supporting characters are intriguing and relatable too and Panther and Solo’s chemistry is so palpable between the pages of the book and hot dang, Aiden and Christian brought the chemistry on a different level with their narration. That last chapter always gets me. 💙💛💙💛
Off to the second book now.. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Hot and yummy!
Audiobook review by Mel
4.5 Blue Roses
4 Blue flames
Dual Narrators Aiden Snow and Christian Fox successfully delivered one of the sexiest series of the year. Everyone knows my Aiden is the best, but coupled with Christian Fox, the pair produced one hell of a ride, or should I say flight? Both these men have a deep and smooth timbre in their voices, which are ideally suited for the testosterone-filled airforce trainee fighter pilot series. They complimented each other and were able to pick up and run with the tension bouncing back and forth. It was magic! They are absolutely a winning combination.
The Series itself is tribute or fanfare to “Top Gun” the movie. Man, could I visualize how the flights went? How they took flight into the air and how the protagonists experienced the velocity and strength of the jets. I watched that movie as a child many-many times. Loving the sexy men in their uniforms and aviator sunglasses, jets, motorbikes, and the speed, and this exactly what the plot is all about.
Panther and Solo are both alpha male personalities. Thanks to the excellent narration, they have stolen my heart and now I am obsessed. They are all kinds of sexy and the chemistry between the two of them is smoldering hot. They have a love-hate relationship in the beginning, which quickly grows into banter and then mutual respect.
As for the cliffhangers…
I would recommend waiting until all three are available on audio. It’s actually one story chopped up in three pieces. This is why I never want to listen to short, audiobooks. It’s quite irritating, imagine, going to the movies and halfway through they stop the movie, tell you to go home and come back in three months to watch the rest. But, I was such an eager beaver to hear my Aiden, I could not click-buy-listen fast enough.
Happy Listening

Cliffhanger..I'll wait
Im totally irritated with the cliffhanger. i missed the review warning. I'll wait until its finished to see....3 credits for 12 maybe 13 hour story...idk...even as hot as this is.
The story is good. You can see it. Total Top Gun and not even remotely cheesy.
The story is good but the narrators are WOWZER.
Aiden Snow sounds just dead sexy here. Christian Fox is a sultry contrast. They play off each other very well. Super hot combo.

surprisingly good
My only complaint is that the voices were so different that I think the book should have been narrated by 1 person and surprisingly I think Christian Fox was a somewhat better fit but both narrators were fantastic and did an amazing job as always. The sex was fire and the the writing kept your attention the entire time. I definitely recommend this.

Meh
I wanted to like this, but it was a struggle. Each narrator was good, but each did both main characters' voices in his chapters, so it was like four people instead of two, and the switch from chapter to chapter kept me from getting immersed in it. It got the impression that each narrator couldn't really do different voices so that's why there's two people reading, but one would have been better. The story is fairly conventional and there's a lot of good sex in this, but at a certain age and as a certain character type, one shouldn't be quite so scared of dad's disapproval--it kind of kills the sex appeal. As others have noted, there's a cliffhanger at the end. I'm not going to buy the next book in the series to find out what happens, so this feels unfinished. Overall, I see what the authors were going for here, and I like what it aspired to be, but the book just didn't get there, at least for me.

missed author opportunity to OWN and make UNIQUE
New to me authors along with excellent and favorite narrators lured me in to purchase. the wording and writing style was good, but the content, plot and story line lacked so badly, I Struggled to finish even with Christian and Aiden in my ear. I HAVE NEVER left a negative review, but there was absolutely no creative thought process to this book, just a poorly made tweek and twerk to Top Gun a total classic. I'm pretty sure the dialogue was even the same with some character role reversal thrown in for good measure. I held on to see if there was an ejection from a cock pit, and yep-there was. no surprise. i won't be continuing on with the series, unfortunately. a total missed opportunity to make something unique and "owned" by the authors. but, just my opinion.

Panther and Solo
Felt like a little Top Gun Action - but I loved it.
Panther and Solo
Panther is the son of a famous pilot with a lot to prove in this school, Solo is the wise cracking loose cannon. They are drawn together and hijinx ensue. Lots of funny and sweet moments.
Excellent narration.

Good story. Good narration.
Another enjoyable read/listen from this writing duo. Having grown up next to an Air Force Base, I am always curious about how pilots will be portrayed in fiction. This was definitely a Top Gun style story. Sigh... One of these days someone will think about the mechanics who way outnumber the pilots and have much more tolerable personalities. Anyway...
I have been a fan of Snow's narration, but I am now a serious Christian Fox fan!

Loved this book when I read it and still love it when listening!
These two authors together are amazing and they don’t disappoint with this new series. Danger Zone is a bit of a slow Burn but in such a good way. The tension between these two is hot hot hot!

Fire Extinguisher Required !
These characters epitomize their call signs: Panther (cool and stealthy) and Solo (brash and opinionated) ! Fantastic expert narrations by both Fox and Snow make this story sizzle squeezing every frisson of passion and drama into this Top Gun'esque tale through intonation, inflection and pacing. Great narrators make such a difference to the whole Audiobook experience.
Red hot action in the cockpit, the classroom and the bedroom.
Ends on a cliff hanger ready for Book 2
NOTE: This story is in 3 parts. Part 3 is not on Audible yet, nor has a date for it's publication been released, but you can read it on Kindle.

Great start to the trilogy
This is the best book of the three. Love Solo and his quirky backchat. The sexual tension is great. Aiden Fox is a dream as a narrator and every time he says Panther my knees wobble a bit.

Edge of your seat action, hot as hell chemistry!
Danger Zone is book one in The Elite series and is the story of Grant Hughes and Matteo Morgan.
Matteo call sign: Solo and Grant call sign: Panther are both accepted into The Elite, the most prestigious Naval Aviation Academy in the world. Only the best of the best are invited to part take in the training programme and they will have to work hard and fight harder to be number one.
Matteo is the cool guy, the fly by the seat of his pants guy, the guy who doesn’t take anything seriously. He’s happy to shout about his sexuality from the rooftops, he’s out, he’s proud and is always pushing everyone’s limits. However, he is one hell of a pilot despite playing the class clown.
Grant is the polar opposite of Matteo. He is the uptight shy guy, the follow the rules kind of guy. Being a fighter pilot is in Grants blood and he has more than earned his place with The Elite as he is an incredible pilot, but expectations are high as he strives for perfection because that’s the way he was raised by his Naval Commander father. Grant keeps his sexuality mostly hidden, very few are aware of his preference for men as his father would not be happy with the masses knowing.
Aidan Snow and Christian Fox are an absolute delight to the ears and bring these characters to life in the most incredible ways. Aidan showcased Grants need to strive for perfection while also trying to fight his feelings for Matteo. Christian effortlessly portrays Matteos need to push Grant out of his comfort zone and the innuendos are on point! A fantastic pairing who really brought this story to life.
I really loved the first installment in this enemies to lovers series. This book was packed full of edge of your seat action and sexual tension and chemistry and my goodness when that tension blows you best have a fan and a spare pair of panties! Oh, and did someone say cliff-hanger? Runs immediately to purchase the rest of the series as that was just…unnecessarily epic!

If you love Top Gun and MM Romance...
Wow, what a ride!! Panther and Solo have been on my radar for a good year but I'm so glad I've finally got to meet them, as they did not dissapoint.
It's instant attraction for both but when they're found to be in the same academy fighting to be the top player, it adds some thrill to the tension between them.
Panther is straight laced and wants no trouble other than doing what needs to be done. However Solo, is always up for a good time and has no problem pushing all barrier until broken and getting what he wants.
In Danger Zone we get to set the tone of the scene and environment. While also fight the tension sizziling between Panther and Solo.
I loved the war and how they gave in, as those moments were worth the wait for sure!
Plus the banter, Brooke and Ella always bring a good time with their main and secondary characters so it feels like a breeze to read through.
The descriptions of the flights and chases in the book we're thrilling, you really felt immersed and ready to have your own glass of water to cool down after.
It's an addictive read that you can't put down and I know from that ending it's only the beginning for what's to come between this dangerous duo. Bring on Need For Speed...
And as always Brooke and Ella pick the most perfect narrators to bring their characters to life! I couldn't have enjoyed this more!

Even better on audio
Oh the tension in this was SO juicy. Even though Panther and Solo are both starting their NAFTA training, this at least to me, is something of an opposites attract story and it was far too short and what an ending and I'm already obsessed not only with Grant and Matteo, but the rest of the side characters too. I'm so glad I picked this up again on audio.

these 2 narrators are on the fav list.
Danger Zone was a really enjoyable listen - the 2 narrators Aiden Snow & Christian Fox are on my favourites list, so I was always going to enjoy listening to this series. A definite recommend for audio lovers.
The main characters Solo and Panther (Mateo and Grant) basically alternate between annoying each other, and finding each other super hot. Solo is such a stirrer, and he loves pressing all of Panthers buttons and irritating the hell out of him. These 2 are fiercely competitive, and Solo especially enjoys pushing boundaries as a fighter pilot. He is the rule breaker, compared to Panther the rule follower.
Quite the cliffhanger ending, but I had Need for Speed waiting to go.
