Publisher's Summary

They train to serve their country.
They strive to be the best.
But only a select few can be....
The Elite

Mateo Morgan
Call Sign: Solo

Reckless, arrogant, and bold, Solo is as known in the US Navy for his bad-boy reputation as he is for his skills as a fighter pilot. It’s a surprise to his peers, then, when he’s chosen to train and compete at the most prestigious naval aviation academy in the world.

Mission Rules:
1. Kick everyone’s ass.
2. Do whatever it takes to win.
3. Do your best to distract the competition.
4. Especially when that competition is a gorgeous blue-eyed perfectionist who makes your blood run hot.

Grant Hughes
Call Sign: Panther

Disciplined, smart, and confident, Panther can’t afford not to play by the rules. As the son of a top Navy commander, all eyes are on him, and being anything less than number one is unacceptable.

Mission Rules:
1. Keep it safe in the air.
2. Prove you’re more than Commander Hughes’s son.
3. No distractions. Stay focused.
4. Don’t fall for your competition - especially not the rebellious heartbreaker with lips made for sinning.

In the heat of the hot California sun, tempers flare and desires ignite as Solo and Panther try to resist their attraction while fighting to be number one.

With passion this intense, the question remains: Who’s gonna come out on top?

Hot and yummy!

Audiobook review by Mel 4.5 Blue Roses 4 Blue flames Dual Narrators Aiden Snow and Christian Fox successfully delivered one of the sexiest series of the year. Everyone knows my Aiden is the best, but coupled with Christian Fox, the pair produced one hell of a ride, or should I say flight? Both these men have a deep and smooth timbre in their voices, which are ideally suited for the testosterone-filled airforce trainee fighter pilot series. They complimented each other and were able to pick up and run with the tension bouncing back and forth. It was magic! They are absolutely a winning combination. The Series itself is tribute or fanfare to “Top Gun” the movie. Man, could I visualize how the flights went? How they took flight into the air and how the protagonists experienced the velocity and strength of the jets. I watched that movie as a child many-many times. Loving the sexy men in their uniforms and aviator sunglasses, jets, motorbikes, and the speed, and this exactly what the plot is all about. Panther and Solo are both alpha male personalities. Thanks to the excellent narration, they have stolen my heart and now I am obsessed. They are all kinds of sexy and the chemistry between the two of them is smoldering hot. They have a love-hate relationship in the beginning, which quickly grows into banter and then mutual respect. As for the cliffhangers… I would recommend waiting until all three are available on audio. It’s actually one story chopped up in three pieces. This is why I never want to listen to short, audiobooks. It’s quite irritating, imagine, going to the movies and halfway through they stop the movie, tell you to go home and come back in three months to watch the rest. But, I was such an eager beaver to hear my Aiden, I could not click-buy-listen fast enough. Happy Listening

Panther and Solo 💙💛💙💛

I was so excited to see both books of this series are finally out on Audible. I loved the ebooks. This new series by Ella and Brooke is nothing short of hot and brilliant. Fighter plane pilots. Alpha male personalities. The supporting characters are intriguing and relatable too and Panther and Solo’s chemistry is so palpable between the pages of the book and hot dang, Aiden and Christian brought the chemistry on a different level with their narration. That last chapter always gets me. 💙💛💙💛 Off to the second book now.. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Meh

I wanted to like this, but it was a struggle. Each narrator was good, but each did both main characters' voices in his chapters, so it was like four people instead of two, and the switch from chapter to chapter kept me from getting immersed in it. It got the impression that each narrator couldn't really do different voices so that's why there's two people reading, but one would have been better. The story is fairly conventional and there's a lot of good sex in this, but at a certain age and as a certain character type, one shouldn't be quite so scared of dad's disapproval--it kind of kills the sex appeal. As others have noted, there's a cliffhanger at the end. I'm not going to buy the next book in the series to find out what happens, so this feels unfinished. Overall, I see what the authors were going for here, and I like what it aspired to be, but the book just didn't get there, at least for me.

surprisingly good

My only complaint is that the voices were so different that I think the book should have been narrated by 1 person and surprisingly I think Christian Fox was a somewhat better fit but both narrators were fantastic and did an amazing job as always. The sex was fire and the the writing kept your attention the entire time. I definitely recommend this.

Cliffhanger..I'll wait

Im totally irritated with the cliffhanger. i missed the review warning. I'll wait until its finished to see....3 credits for 12 maybe 13 hour story...idk...even as hot as this is. The story is good. You can see it. Total Top Gun and not even remotely cheesy. The story is good but the narrators are WOWZER. Aiden Snow sounds just dead sexy here. Christian Fox is a sultry contrast. They play off each other very well. Super hot combo.

Panther and Solo

Felt like a little Top Gun Action - but I loved it. Panther and Solo Panther is the son of a famous pilot with a lot to prove in this school, Solo is the wise cracking loose cannon. They are drawn together and hijinx ensue. Lots of funny and sweet moments. Excellent narration.

Good story. Good narration.

Another enjoyable read/listen from this writing duo. Having grown up next to an Air Force Base, I am always curious about how pilots will be portrayed in fiction. This was definitely a Top Gun style story. Sigh... One of these days someone will think about the mechanics who way outnumber the pilots and have much more tolerable personalities. Anyway... I have been a fan of Snow's narration, but I am now a serious Christian Fox fan!

Yes yes yes

Loved this book when I read it and still love it when listening! These two authors together are amazing and they don’t disappoint with this new series. Danger Zone is a bit of a slow Burn but in such a good way. The tension between these two is hot hot hot! Aiden Snow and Christian Fox knock it out of the park narrating!

Holy Hotness!!

I absolutely loved this series, so when the audio came out I was snapping it up before I even looked to see if it was Whyspersynced. These were new to me narrators and holy hotness ya’ll I was so “hear” for their style together. I was hooked before the first chapter in was finished. Christian Fox and Aiden Snow did an amazing job bringing Panther and Solo to life for me. They were both so growly and perfect for what I imagined these two would sound like. The chemistry of Panther and Solo just jumped out at you and kept you listening to what was going to happen next! I loved the premise of two fighter pilots going up against each other, each thinking they are the best of the best. I loved how that competition didn’t just stay in the sky, but also followed them into what heated up to be a scorchingly hot competitive relationship on the ground as well. Each man had something to prove - either to themselves or others, and that drive is what has gotten them to NAFTA. This may be one of the most epic cliffhangers I’ve listened/read to date, and I’m glad I have the next audio on hand to dive into what left us on the edge of our seats!

If Top Gun was an M/M romance.

Danger Zone The Elite, Book 1 By: Brooke Blaine, Ella Frank Narrated by: Aiden Snow, Christian Fox Series: The Elite, Book 1 Length: 4 hrs and 25 mins I listened to this book at 1.40 x If Top Gun was an M/M romance it would be this book. Ok story line, cliffhanger, not a bad plot I love all the books from Ella Frank (50+) and Brook Blaine (12+) that I have read/listened to, most are 5 star and higher if possible. But sorry to say this just made a 4 star at best. Aiden Snow, and Christian Fox always do a great job.

tension filled

Solo and Panther play a great game of cat and mouse right until the end. This cliffhanger will have you cursing unless the next book is ready to go on your device.

Fire Extinguisher Required !

These characters epitomize their call signs: Panther (cool and stealthy) and Solo (brash and opinionated) ! Fantastic expert narrations by both Fox and Snow make this story sizzle squeezing every frisson of passion and drama into this Top Gun'esque tale through intonation, inflection and pacing. Great narrators make such a difference to the whole Audiobook experience. Red hot action in the cockpit, the classroom and the bedroom. Ends on a cliff hanger ready for Book 2 NOTE: This story is in 3 parts. Part 3 is not on Audible yet, nor has a date for it's publication been released, but you can read it on Kindle.

Danger Zone is awesome!

Amazing!!! Story like TopGun with the hot male leads wanting each other. The narrators... I have no words... So good! But be warned this is book one and it ends on a whopper of a climax. Lucky book 2 is available already. Love it. Get it!

these 2 narrators are on the fav list.

Danger Zone was a really enjoyable listen - the 2 narrators Aiden Snow & Christian Fox are on my favourites list, so I was always going to enjoy listening to this series. A definite recommend for audio lovers. The main characters Solo and Panther (Mateo and Grant) basically alternate between annoying each other, and finding each other super hot. Solo is such a stirrer, and he loves pressing all of Panthers buttons and irritating the hell out of him. These 2 are fiercely competitive, and Solo especially enjoys pushing boundaries as a fighter pilot. He is the rule breaker, compared to Panther the rule follower. Quite the cliffhanger ending, but I had Need for Speed waiting to go.
