so much potential

so the story base is amazing and captivating. Enough to keep me getting the sequels. But the story is so fast paced and missing detail. It skips around and fast forward quite a bit and then your left with "what was the point of this whole chapter". Anyway the narrator is great, but there is some volume issues... the narration is too low and the quotes are very loud. So I'm constantly having to adjust volume. Other than that, she does sooo good with the different voices and expressed emotion. I love that it doesn't sound like shes ready, but that she is acting.

Childish at best

I couldn’t handle the ridiculousness of the main character. The endless whining and bloated ego will make you roll your eyes so many times you’ll have a headache until it blessedly ends. Don’t waste your credit.

Illogical

I have about 1 hour left in the book and I just had to stop it. Though the book is well organized and descriptive, the main character is just too naive.. too the point to where it’s stupid to be honest.

So someone slices the throat of someone you love right in front of your face with your blades and 1 month later you’re like, “but man he’s so good looking. I want to rub myself all over his wings. It’s a shame he’s an ass sometimes..” what ?!? It actually says, “what a shame” are you kidding me? The #1 reason this stands out to me is because the main character is betrayed significantly over theses deaths. But she’s not willing to forgive that person, but is more forgiving/forgetting with the killer. Just illogical and extremely innocent type of writing on a more mature topic. Doesn’t mesh well. And in the end, all of the killing and kidnapping seems for no reason.

Narration was done poorly. There were times it was so quiet then really loud all of the sudden.

Wow! I couldn’t stop listening it was so good. This is my first book by Sloane and I enjoyed it so much I bought the remainder of the series. Loved the dual narration and both were perfect.
