So auch im Fall der Affenbande. Ein nächtlicher Eisenbahnraub verursacht dem Yard Kopfzerbrechen. Gestohlen wurde ein unermesslich wertvoller afrikanischer Stammesschatz. Die Täter: Menschenaffen. Jedenfalls wenn man den am Tatort gefundenen Fingerabdrücken Glauben schenken darf.
Bliss und Mander ermitteln. Schon bald kommen sie dem wahren Täter auf die Spur. Da geschieht das Unfassbare: Sergeant Mander wird entführt. Bliss ist hilflos.
