Publisher's Summary
Tonight, travel with Candace Parker deep into the Appalachian mountains to visit one of the most famous homes in the world: Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater.
Candace Parker is an entrepreneur, an activist, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, and one of the most decorated women’s basketball players of all-time with two WNBA MVP Awards. Off the court, Parker is a bold, insightful, and inspiring thought leader who is passionate about the importance of women’s rights, voters’ rights, and Black Lives Matter.
Bedtime stories are narrated by the world's most celebrated voices and written with no beginning, middle, or end so you don't stay up to hear what happens next. They're interesting enough to give your mind something to focus on but delivered in a way that encourages sleep.
This title is part of The Audible Sleep Collection, exclusive audio experiences created to help you fall asleep, stay asleep, and wake up in the right morning mindset. New and free for members.

Falling Asleep with falling water
Falling asleep with falling water was by far the best audio I’ve listened to. Candace Parker delivers the story perfectly!I I highly recommend this.

Story=good, Narrator=blah
This is a good sleep story; interesting but it’s still very easy to fall asleep after a few minutes.
The narrator is not good. She doesn’t smoothly read the story; she often finishes a sentence and then realizes there’s more, so then she adds on the rest of the sentence. It makes the reading very choppy and frankly, frustrating to listen to.

Some mispronunciations make it distracting
Also the pace was uneven. Both these things made it not that relaxing. Good story though the author refers to the subject as Mr. Wright which sounds like "Mr. Right", also jars you out of it like the mispronunciations.

boring but not enough
This story is lacking in many ways, it's definitely boring but not the kind you can fall asleep too. almost like an annoying neighbor. The readers voice isn't all that soothing either.

Interesting Subject, Poor Narrator
I've long been a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright, so when I found this audio I was sure that I would enjoy it. However, the narration is not good . . . at all. This is billed as a bedtime story, and its not. It is so far from soothing that I can't even describe it . . . bored maybe? Irritated? I'd have loved to have been able to capture the soothing scenes in my mind of the outdoor beauty surrounding the home . . . but it grated on my nerves so much that I had to turn it off. 😞

Awful narrator.
I’ve always been interested in Frank Lloyd Wright so this seemed right up my alley. Unfortunately I couldn’t make it past the first 10 minutes. The narrator was intolerable and this was anything but relaxing.

Narration was a problem for me
The story is interesting. I had to listen to it several times to finish it as the cadence was off. There was no conversational flow as it sounded like she was reading instead of telling a story.

Bedtime
As far as bedtime stories go, after listening to this I had the best nights sleep ever and learned about a Frank Loyd Wright home that I now have to go see.

Very soothing and interesting!
I love the cadence of Candace Parker’s voice! I’ve listened to this story at least 5 times and I never get to the end; I always fall asleep!🤣 What I am awake for tho is very interesting; I’ve never heard of Falling Water and I am curious to research it now! But, would that ruin the magic? Anywho, this one and The Tea Shoppe are my favorites of the Audible Bedtime Stories!

not very good.
The author seemed unaware of other similar philosophical architects of the era, against whom Frank Lloyd Wright compares unfavourably, or other great architecture. The interesting part was the description of walking around, noticing details not well documented in other sources.
The narrator did not seem to have come across some of the words before, and did not pause at breaks in the narrative, but when she needed a breath. So it sounds like listening to a pre-school child reading.

interesting but put off by narrator
i found it interesting enough to look it up but found the narrator's style to be off putting enough that i couldn't finish it. it was delivered in an authoritarian tone almost like an order.

Interesting
I clearly was more curious about the details in this story to fall asleep soon after it was read but I really enjoyed it and found it interesting. Thank you!
