Publisher's Summary

What does a frustrated Vampyre do when the woman he's chased for 200 years is still trying to get away? He plays dirty, that's what.

Welcome to my own personal hell.

Name: Heathcliff. Occupation: Vampyre Warrior - one of the deadliest in the world. I plan. I fight. I win. Always. However, it's never taken me this damned long to get what I want before.

Only I would be blessed with a Vampyre mate I'd have to chase for two centuries. The chemistry between us is steamy, and the sex is sizzling, but I want more - I want it all. Now, just as I'm finally wearing Raquel down, I find I have competition, not for my mate's hand but for her very existence.

Raquel may run and she may hide, but she is mine, and I will no longer take no for an answer. Whatever is in the way between us doesn't matter. We were made for each other. Nothing anyone can do will change that simple fact...except maybe the Trolls...or the Wraiths...or the reclusive, insane Vampyre sister of my King who wants to drink my mate dry for reasons no one will freakin' explain to me.

Damn it, I thought the chase was difficult...keeping Raquel alive might prove to be my undoing.

stop changing narrators

it is very annoying to be listening to a series and having the narrators keep changing

Another Winner

I just love Robyn Peterman's books. This story is about Heathcliff and Raquel. They are mates but they Raquel has been avoiding joining with Heathcliff because she has a secret(or a curse). After all this time and the secret comes out, they finally get together as mates. But that is not the end of the story. Now they have to find out who placed the curse on her. Then Juliette tries to kill her and gets captured. But that is not the end of it either. Then some of the royal family goes missing and more curses. Will all this work its self out? Keep listening/reading to the end. There is appearance by angels, Satan himself, Vald the impaler or Dracula as he hates to be called. Full of action. I recommend this book and all others in this series.
My next thing to speak about is the narrator. This is book number 6 and i have not read books 2, 3, 4 and 5. You ask why i skipped to no 6? I have seen so many reviews putting the narrator down and stating the author should not have changed narrators in the middle of the series. I spoke to a friend of mine who said the narrator was great. But because of the bad reviews about the narrator, i had to see for myself. I loved him. He was fantastic. I personally like him better than the narrator from book 1. I have put off listening because of the narrator in the first book. I did not like the voice for Astrid. But this narrator is great!!!!. I am sorry people feel that he did not do a great job. I will go back and listen to the other books because Robyn is a great author but wish Victor was reading them. He is great.

Awesome Story And Performance!!!

Oh, he** yeah, Robyn does it again!

The "Hot Damned" series is one of my favorites! I love the insanely funny plots, crazy characters, and the witty and colorful dialogue! These stories are always funny, sexy, exciting, and just downright entertaining!

From the first story, Heathcliff's is a character I wanted to hear more about, and was happy he got his own story. The chemistry between him and Raquel was hot! It would have to be after he rips her arm off! Yeah, it happened years ago and it grew back, but still you have to have strong feelings for someone to forgive that! But then again, they were crazy for each other!

Victor Bevine's got talent! He delivered an amazing performance! As a voice actor, he really knows how to narrate a story to bring each scene to life from the really steamy ones to the intense fighting scenes. With his narration skills, it is easy to visualize the story unfolding in your mind.

Well worth the wait, and time invested in listening! I loved it!

Not the best narrator or storyline in series.

1. the narrator would change from Rachel to Raquel a few times.
2. I didnt feel the passion in his narrating to draw me into the book.
3. this book may have been good as a half book of like 1 hour and half the chapters.
4. the storyline was too sudden in comparison to the other books.
5. in the first book, Astrid sees and meets Raquel for the first time at night in a graveyard... how come all of a sudden, Raquel can't be out at night anymore?????

Good but not my favorite of the series

This was another good book in the Hot Damned Series but it wasn’t my favorite. The narrator was decent but I couldn’t tell a lot of the characters apart. Luckily a lot of the story was from the 2 main characters interactions. I understand why Jessica wasn’t used to narrate this, since it’s from Heathcliff’s POV, but I missed being able to recognize who was speaking. But I enjoyed the story and will be starting the next book straight away.

Good but I would have preferred a female narrator

It was a bit difficult to get used to a male narrator. I would much prefer a woman. He did a good job but it was a little weird hearing him try to do the women voices. All that aside, I did enjoy the book.

This book was irrelevant to the story line !!!!!!!

I think this book was slow and drawn out. the performance was lacking and the story was hard to get into. it was also not complete, it kinda had no point accept the 2 mated, big suprise! I have a thing about listening to all in the series and the order intended, it was hard to get into though.

Good story

Hotter Than Hell is an interesting story full of court & family intrigue. An old foe resurfaces, family is revealed, Angels and Satan make an appearance, & a conspiracy is unraveled. Lucifer has a wicked sense of humor and he truly shows his colors in this story 🤣. Highly recommend this series.

Just started but...

I'm having trouble getting into the story because the narration is terrible. I realize this story is told from a male perspective but I still think it's a mistake to change narrators again this far into the series. If a change was necessary, I would have thought it would be someone who could consistently pronounce the character name correctly. The narrator pronounced Raquel as Rachel...very frustrating and instantly takes the listener out of the story.

Take a little walk in the life of Heathcliff

We temporarily leave Astrid for a little walk in the life of Heathcliff. His 200 year pursuit of the Princess of the European territory has been a lot of give and take. Heathcliff giving everything he has to her including his un-beating heart. Then Raquel taking. Taking verbal & physical swings at him. Taking his body for epic rides and then acting as if there is nothing between them. It is his turn to take and he will win no matter the fight and it will be the fight of their lives!
