Publisher's Summary

"Living is taking chances, and Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway® has helped so many people-both men and women-to achieve success." (Louise Hay, the best-selling author of You Can Heal Your Life)

Are you afraid of making decisions...asking your boss for a raise...committing to a relationship...going on an interview...public speaking...facing the future?

Does fear keep you from jumping into life with energy and excitement?

Fear seems to be epidemic in our society. We fear changing plans, we fear staying stuck. We fear failure, we fear success. Whatever your fears, this classic guide will give you concrete tools and insights to improve your ability to handle any situation life throws at you.

Best-selling author Susan Jeffers' timeless teachings live on in this work, based on the same techniques she used in her own life to experience more strength, peace, and joy.

Learn how to:

  • Let go of negative programming
  • Say "yes!" to all circumstances
  • Raise your level of self-esteem
  • Become more assertive
  • Create more love, trust, and enjoyment

Through the process Susan has laid out, you'll discover that fear is simply a fact of life, not a barrier to success. Get ready to take control and move ahead with your life. Feel the fear...and do it anyway!

Horrible narrator

This narrator was terrible, such an annoying voice. I couldn't finish listening to her so I just finished reading. Really let down!

The best of the best!

I read this book when I was 15 and again now at 42. The information is relevant, powerful and inspiring! A good read for anyone struggling with anxiety, depression or just needing some inspiration in life.

Nothing new and the voice is annoying

It was hard for me to finish this one. The performance id annoying and the theme is Just Do It. I understand this is an older book but it needs an update.

Good overall message. A little slow and subjective

With a PhD being a big selling point on the authors credibility, I figured this book would reference lots of research and data but instead it was mostly anecdotes and hypothesis.

Otherwise, the message is strong, clear, consistent and honest. Was it valuable? Sure. Was it a book I'll keep on replay? Probably not.

The author was clear and kept a calm tone. But sometimes she made me feel a little drowzy with her low n slow energy.

Outstanding, life changing even

What I love about this book is the lack of pretense. It's plain, approachable and very, very useful. I could describe the book in detail but the title really tells it all.

Helpful book.

Helpful book. Obviously dated as it refers to listening to tapes quite often. Overall the tools provided are timeless to working with and through fear.

There is so much more to learn from this book than the title suggests!

A LIFE CHANGER!

Of the many self-help and personal development books I have read ... and used in my teaching ...this is probably the best. They say "when the student is ready, the teacher will appear". Well, I'm always learning and, though at first I felt I should have read this many years ago, I trust in the flow and feel this was exactly the right time in my life for this book to appear. Thank you Susan Jeffers ... and thank you, lovely Jules, for recommending it 🌻

Not bad but not life changing

I’ve listened to handful of similar ‘self-help-y’ type books and this one didn’t leave me feeling ‘wowed’ like other reviews have said. It was very warm and squishy but I didn’t get any ground breaking bits of info. Maybe I had too high of hopes for it given everyone propped it up so much? Wasn’t bad. Wasn’t mind blowing either.
