About this listen

There’s never a good time for a ghost crisis.

However, it’s particularly inconvenient while I’m trying to tackle my first wedding season. Between twelve hour days, an assistant with a case of butter fingers (not the chocolate kind), and the flood of tourists in town, I’m struggling to keep a grip on my sanity.

All I want is three months of peace from the spirit world. But when local ghosts start going missing, I have to do something.

After all, it’s not like they go to the Hamptons.

Missing ghosts, a posthumously alimony-hungry divorcee, and a raging bridezilla. Yup, my bingo card is officially full.

Can I get a prize and go home now?

This is one of those books that I'm definitely loving more to listen to. So we continue with our gang of friendly ghosts and Scarlet, as her business has taken off and she's busy planning the first big wedding order of flowers.

Even though she has a teammate to help her out now, Lizzie, yet her clumsy ways hinder more than help but because she's a good one otherwise, Lizzie has managed not to get fired.

If the busy schedule isn't enough, the bridezilla from heck, whose wedding is the big assignment for scarlet, keeps on changing things and throwing tantrums over the most ridiculous things.

Scarlet might not like Kimberly but she's her client and she does her best to ignore the pomposs bride to be.

But the biggest twister happens when a new ghost comes to see scarlet and to say she's beyond shocked is the least. The suspect list is taking in everyone who were close to the victim and scarlet can't even believe this has happened.

Lucas and Scarlet are going steady and I absolutely adore their bond and their chemistry is amazing. Especially because the way Lucas accepts and understands Scarlet's gift without question and even joins her in resolving the many ghostly issues, has my heart.

On the other hand, there's an alarming turn happening when the town's ghosts starts suddenly disappearing. Gwen, the town's gossip ghost, does warn Scarlet but scarlet has her hands full.
When things begin to escalate, scarlet hopes that she's not too late.

We have the no nonsense, sarcastic comebacks from flabjack as usual which definitely make for interesting conversations and crazy new ghosts and amidst all that, scarlet trying to juggle her love life and her doubts and rescuing ghosts who might be in danger.

Had so much fun listening to this one. Excited to start the next one as we see that Scarlet is ready to vacay with her BF in New Orleans.. Ooohhh. ❤️❤️

Ghosts disappearing & a bridezilla, hounding.
