Publisher's Summary
Headphones recommended.
Gently place your attention on the steady low-pitched thrum of a gong, while chimes and bells add layers of tones to create a deeply relaxing and immersive sound experience.
In order to get the most out of your listening experience, pioneering sound therapist Sara Auster recommends you dim the lights and lie down or sit in a comfortable position with an eye mask and a blanket, silence any alerts or notifications, and use earphones. These things allow you to completely unplug and connect with the present moment to intentionally prepare for sleep. Your body has permission to slow down and rest, to receive without the need to respond or react.
Begin your experience by focusing on your breath, then allow yourself to drift into a spacious and dreamlike state. All you have to do is arrive with an open mind, and listen.
Sara Auster is the leading voice in sound bath experiences, and considered a master of the form. Sara has been featured in The New York Times, Vogue, TIME, and O, The Oprah Magazine, and she has facilitated large-scale, site-specific sound bath experiences at iconic venues around the world including the Museum of Modern Art, Madison Square Garden, Palais de Tokyo, and SummerStage in Central Park. Her live sound bath events are celebrated as transformative, therapeutic experiences for balance, relaxation, and well-being. We're thrilled to be able to bring this unique sound experience to the comfort of your own bedroom for the first time.

Evil Lair Soundtrack - Not particularlyrelaxing
The playing of the sounds was well done, however, the choice of sounds for the purpose of relaxation was questionable. It was comparable to the soundtrack of a secret ninja clan's hideout, where disaster was just around the corner. While listening I felt a looming sense of foreboding.

Absolutely not narrated, False Advertising.
I picked this up thinking: "Hey, I'm having trouble relaxing and a guided meditation I haven't done before might be nifty. Grounding exercises are relaxing. I wonder how this person's approach is."
I got 19 minutes of dissonance, a bit of cyclic noise from a cymbal, no words spoken. Therefore, no guidance. It was just painful noise.

Creepiest sound bath ever
Not the usual pleasant singing bowls you’d expect in a sound bath. This was super creepy and even freaked my dog out.

Creepy sounding
I kept expecting to hear a sound that would mimicked simone jumping out to scare me... it was creepy sounding. Not enough chimes.

Helpful but takes times to get used to
In the beginning, it felt weird as the sounds were new and took time to feel relaxed. After a week, I see the benefits as I have a deep sleep these days after the meditation. It takes time to get used to it so don't give up early.

Interesting, but it’s not what I need now.
As I said it’s not what I need now.
But my sister loved it!
Thank you so much to the performers.
It is indeed very soothing.

It’s like “wiping the chalkboard clean!”
With everyone’s hectic life, and so much on our minds, listening to Sara’s Sound Baths transported me to a place where nothing else exists but your breathing! Sometimes I don’t even feel my arms or legs! The relaxation is amazing, and for the duration, well, it’s like “wiping the chalkboard clean!” The only thing that was missing was a narration by Sara’s calming voice. Sara Auster is a gift that the world needs now!

Calming the Mind
Sara Auster gives permission to let go of all the concerns and worries that have accumulated in the mind over the day. This sound bath is as relaxing as soaking in the tub at day's end.

Like a horror movie soundtrack
I generally enjoy sound baths, and respect the skills of this practitioner, but oh my! The sounds in this one really are unsettling to me.
