Taxi driver Jeet Singh is cruising for fare when a man being tailed by a bunch of goons blocks his way. Entrusting him with a briefcase full of secret, classified government documents to be delivered in lieu of a huge sum to a girl in Jogeshwari, he jumps off the moving taxi. His dead body is found by the railway track in a Mumbai suburb the next morning, while Jeet Singh finds he has nobody to give the briefcase to; the girl died mysteriously the previous night. राम कमलानी खूब रुतबे वाला, समाज के उच्च वर्ग का एक आधारस्तंभ था । अपने इस ऊंचे रुतबे को हासिल करने के लिये उसने क्या अपने कर्मचारी, साथी, परिवार या प्रतिद्वंद्वी हर किसी की पीठ में छुरा भोंका था, हर किसी का गला काटा था । छोटे आदमी की जात से नफरत करना, उनको दुत्कारना, जलील करना वह अपना धर्म समझता था । ऐसे आदमी - जिसने जीवन में सिर्फ दुश्मन ही बनाये थे - की लाश जब उसके घर में पड़ी पायी गई तो किसी को कोई ताज्जुब ना हुआ ।
