Chosen from birth to usher in a new era, Poppy’s life has never been her own. The life of the Maiden is solitary. Never to be touched. Never to be looked upon. Never to be spoken to. Story
Of course I want to be like them. They're beautiful as blades forged in some divine fire. They will live forever. And Cardan is even more beautiful than the rest. I hate him more than all the others. I hate him so much that sometimes when I look at him, I can hardly breathe. One terrible morning, Jude and her sisters see their parents murdered in front of them. The terrifying assassin abducts all three girls to the world of Faerie, where Jude is installed in the royal court but mocked and tormented by the Faerie royalty for being mortal.

Fantastic! A Queen is born.
The story builds and gets so much deeper. We meet amazing new characters that include, iron teeth witches and their mounts, the rebels, the general (the wolf of the north), Maeve and of course Rowan one of Maeve's blood bound warriors. Celaena is at rock bottom after arriving in Wendlyn. Summoned to meet her Aunt Maeve she has to travel to Mistward to train, in magic, under the brutal warrior Rowan. They hate each other and only he can decide if she is ready to travel to Doranelle to get the answers that she needs. These are dark times for Celaena and she must decide if she is willing to fight her own demons to become the Queen she was born to be.

The turning point of the series
We met her as Celaena Sardothien, an Assassin, now it’s time to become who she was meant to be, but it's going to be a lot harded than she thought. Follow Celaena on her epic journey, it’s going to be bumpy ride but it’s worth it, every step of the way!

I am struggling so much with finding the will to finish this series. I was very bored and confused especially in the begining of this book but by the end of this one it feels like things are actually moving onto something so I think I'll keep reading. I thought the narrator did a really good job though!

Enchanting immersive story.
The reader has a beautiful voice that is as magical as the story she is reading. I find myself as lost in the book as I would be reading it myself.
