EASY LISTENING!
I have just discovered Irene Hannon. Therese Plummer is the reason I decided to spend my credit on this book. I'm so glad I did! After listening to several intense mysteries/thrillers, I enjoyed the easy flow of this book. Therese Plummer is beyond my favorite narrator...she wins hands down for "Narrator of the Year" award. I would probably listen to anything she spends her time narrating. As for the story...I think it's splendid and so well worth the credit. I just hope it's the beginning of a great series! There was something left hanging at the end that opens the door for the next book in the series...I hope!

Maybe too clean...
I got this title because of the narrator Therese Plummer. She is one of my favorite narrators and is always very good doing different voices for all characters. She makes very believable male voices and always add so much emotion to stories that make them feel very real. That said, the story was just ok.
When I was reading the blurb it was described as a contemporary romance but it is really a religious romance. The Christian theme is mentioned through the story. The romance is very mild. As in absolutely no sex and maybe two kisses. These are divorced adults over thirty and the lack of physical intimacy was strange for me in a romance story. It does have a nice message about getting over guilt and grief and finding love again. Also about the power of forgiveness so the story is nice in that regards. If you listen to it expecting an inspirational story then you will be very pleased. If you're expecting your average contemporary romance story then you might be a bit disappointed. It's also a series and book 2 is available but I'll skip that one.

AWESOME!!!!
Amazing, heart-warming love story. It was so good I did not want to pause and ended up listening to it all in one day! There are a lot of good life-lessons brought out in the story, too. I hope there is a sequel!!!!

Great summer read.
Any additional comments?
Great Book. Therese Plummer can make any book worth listening to but this book stands on its own with great characters and storyline. And maybe-just maybe one character could possibly be an earthbound Anger of sorts?? Very enjoyable.

Kinda Sweet but Very Cheesy.
For some reason this book was in the mystery-romance category. It had zero mystery. Just a super cheesy, somewhat predictable relationship novel. I thought about giving up on it several times but did make it to the end. Not my kind of book.

A very well written inspirational book.
This book offers hope, encouragement to anyone who needs that extra little push to start over, open doors they may have closed. Being a prodigal you some times need a reminder of Gods caring for His children.

Story For The Soul
This book was predictable. However, the characters were endearing. Even though I knew what was going to happen it somehow gave me a good feeling that often times is not so for many books. Ms. Plummer is always wonderful to listen to. I would recommend for a good, comforting read. Leaves you hopeful. The only thing is now I want to know about the adopted son. Maybe in the sequel.
