Story
Look, I didn't want to be a half-blood. I never asked to be the son of a Greek God. I was just a normal kid, going to school, playing basketball, skateboarding. The usual. Until I accidentally vaporized my maths teacher. That's when things started really going wrong. Now I spend my time fighting with swords, battling monsters with my friends, and generally trying to stay alive. This is the one where Zeus, God of the Sky, thinks I've stolen his lightning bolt - and making Zeus angry is a very bad idea.

Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

For Mark and his friends, surviving is difficult, and then an enemy arrives, infecting people with a highly contagious virus. Thousands die, and the virus is spreading. Publisher's Summary
It began with Eragon... It ends with Inheritance.
Not so very long ago, Eragon - Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider - was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now, the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.
Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances.
The Rider and his dragon have come farther than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaësia? And if so, at what cost?

Brilliant!
Would you consider the audio edition of Inheritance to be better than the print version?
Yes! I read two of the books in the Inheritance Cycle and listened to two. Although I never thought I'd say it, I preferred the audio book!
What about Kerry Shale’s performance did you like?
The accents, they gave each character an individual voice.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No, my daughters and I drew it out over a week, preferring to savor it to the very end. We already miss Eragon and Saphira!
Any additional comments?
Well read, excellent quality and the story is unforgettable!

DO NOT BUY!!!!! THIS IS ABRIDGED
Very disappointed, nothing was said until you start to listen and realize that huge portions are missed from the book. Look for the narrator Gerrard Doyle much better and the unabridged version. It is under 1/3 of the book, if I could get my credit back I would in a heart beat.
