Such a good rhetorical perspective of what really happened and how cruel the British Empire really was..Good to be reminded of this in 2025

This has been the best read of my life. Great story telling. Protagonist spiritual life, his experiences and the authors interpretation of the story and incident is all so very well written. It's almost as if I saw Mccandles life playing right in front of my eyes.

Excellent story telling. Very spiritual .

Amazing book. The character of Alex Supertramp liberates you. The narration is soothing but can be soporific of you get lost into the story

Serene yet enjoyable
