Tamil version of 12 Angry Men

Those who enjoy courtroom dramas would relish this audio version of Devan's fantastic book. We never really come across any India courtroom dramas that involve a jury trial since the jury system was abolished in the 1950s. This story gives us a window into the world of a Madras courtroom of that era. A superb drama in a book has been transformed into an excellent audio play by the performing team. One of the best Tamil audio books I've listened to.

Worth it

Loved the plot and narration. Laughing background music seems inappropriate at certain locations when there are serious conversations

A classic rendered classically!

Ever since I started reading as a kid, Devan is one of my most favourite authors, especially for his witty humour. 'Justice Jaganathan' gave me the appearance that it will not be a typical Devan book - it is, yet it introduced me to another amazing facet of Devan, exposing me to his versatility!

The book is slow, set in the old elaborate winding narrative style, but Bombay Kannan's most talented team made this another wonderful experience. As usual, I felt myself living with the characters. I especially enjoyed some of the mimicry used to differentiate some minor characters (is it me or Venkatesan's voice was rendered like Actor Surya's? Here and there certain voices sounded like Bagyaraj's 😂 lol) It's a colorful picture in voices!

A courtroom drama which could have been taut

Justice Jagannathan by Amarar Devan is an extraordinary book that was ahead of its time by exploring a crime through a courtroom trial. The core story holds us intrigued, and the dialogue exchanges between the prosecutor and the defending lawyer can be studied by even law students now! However, there was an overdose of melodrama and especially the last three chapters were dragged to test my patience!

Narrator Bombay Kannan & Group were so good. It was more of acting rather than just narrating, and it looked like I was hearing a theater play rather than a book! I had heard Thuppariyum Sambu from the same group earlier and was impressed and now totally gonna start hearing audiobooks performed by them!

Good Narration for Boring story

Bombay Kannan team can select good story instead of these kind of uninterested stuffs

They are best at Kalki and sandilyan Novels . . please do more . .
