After finishing the fifth book in this series, I can say that this series is all about the feels, it's sweet, will melt your heart and has steamy chemistry but most importantly it's about family, brotherhood and a clan of friends who always has your back no matter what.
After finishing Sarah's book, I was really curious about Josie's story, the sister Scott and Sarah had been searching for and have finally found.
Knowing their problematic past, nobody knew what happened to Josie or where she was and so her siblings are shocked to learn that she now has a cute little son.
Josie is bitter about her past and has no intention of connecting with her siblings. I felt this part was done so beautifully, tackling all the misunderstandings that Josie had and also them all reconnecting had tears in my eyes.
I'm telling you that scene will make your eyes teary.
What Josie didn't expect was to find her past one nighter to be back in the form of Jed Moon and he's been assigned to protect and look out for by the Dark Knights and the Whiskey family.
Jed Moon had never forgotten about the girl he had spent the best time with and now that she's in front of him, he's instantly smitten and doesn't want to let go.
These men in this series are such darlings because of the way they love and care and treat their women and especially their families.
Jed had been given another chance by the Whiskeys to make his life better and I loved how Jed recognizes the help someone needs, just like he had needed.
The chemistry between Jed and Josie is so freaking hot but Josie has a past that makes her feel conflicted and kinda guilty for wanting Jed.
But how can you resist a man who looks at you with eyes like Jed with strong desire and loves your son like he were his own.
I also loved loved seeing the entire gang of the Whiskey family and just everyone together. Especially the kids are absolutely adorable.
AHH... This series has my heart and I just can't get enough of it. Onto book 6 now.
