More of the same.

Another decent entry into this cool series. I love the casual sci mixed with humor formula of the series obviously which is why I'm on book 6 of it lol.
My biggest gripe with the series is not the endless banter between Skippy and Joe Bishop or anything else that others find irritating about the series but rather the simplistic good vs evil portrayal of the Rindalu vs Maxalt coalition.

Kristang coalition always bad, Ruhar coalition good kind of grates on me. Plus as an Indian, I'm very sensitive to the use of the much maligned word 'caste' that gets used for the Krystang.

It's as simplistic as what Hollywood action movies in the 80's and 90's used to do... Good America fighting the evils of the world, mostly fanatic Russians or sometimes the Arabs or some ppl from the Far East... C'mon you can write more maturely!!

A healthy mix of drama, suspense and fun.

I heard book 1 and I was hooked. It took me almost a year to complete all 6. Worth it! Love the verbal battle between Joe and Skippy.
