So far, the book seems promising. Look forward to the other knowledge nuggets in store.

Two chapters in, I liked the concept of rejection goals.

One of the most simple and honest books I've recently come across. while some appear very obvious (we all know it kind of), many others are compelling and inspiring. No regrets completing this at all!

Absolutely Brilliant, Straight from the Heart

“Million Dollar Weekend” by Noah Kagan is a fast-paced and entertaining read that follows the escapades of a group of friends who stumble upon a golden opportunity to make a fortune over the course of a weekend. Set against the backdrop of Silicon Valley, Kagan weaves a tale of entrepreneurship, friendship, and the pursuit of success.

One of the strengths of “Million Dollar Weekend” lies in its relatable characters and witty dialogue. Kagan has a knack for capturing the camaraderie and banter that often define close-knit friendships, and readers will find themselves rooting for the protagonists as they navigate the highs and lows of their entrepreneurial venture.

The novel also offers valuable insights into the world of startup culture and the hustle required to succeed in today’s competitive business landscape. Kagan draws upon his own experiences as a serial entrepreneur to infuse the narrative with authenticity and insider knowledge, making it both informative and engaging for readers interested in the startup scene.

However, while “Million Dollar Weekend” is an enjoyable read overall, it does suffer from some pacing issues and a lack of depth in character development. The plot moves swiftly, sometimes at the expense of fully exploring the motivations and backgrounds of the protagonists. As a result, some readers may find themselves wishing for a deeper emotional connection to the characters and their journey.

Additionally, the resolution of the story may feel somewhat rushed, leaving certain plot threads feeling unresolved. While the novel’s open-ended conclusion leaves room for interpretation, it may leave some readers wanting more closure.

In summary, “Million Dollar Weekend” is a fun and light-hearted romp through the world of entrepreneurship, filled with humor, camaraderie, and valuable insights. While it may not delve as deeply into its characters and themes as some readers might hope, it nevertheless offers an entertaining glimpse into the highs and lows of chasing the startup dream. Usp: methodical, relatability, practical. Great storytelling.

I have been following Noah's YouTube channel and honestly at first I thought that this would be just another marketing channel for him, but listening to the audiobook and going into the first two chapters, I have realised that this is one of the great books on starting a business for anyone, and it has really helped me face my fear of rejection and move forward and get started with building something. Thanks, Noah and team!
