Publisher's Summary
The definitive, easy to understand and breakthrough guide on how young people can take their limited first income and turn it into a small fortune by the time they turn 30 from an expert financial planner. Most people know that there are 70 million Baby Boomers in America today....but what is less known is that there are approximately 100 million people in America between the ages of 16 and 30. This generation has just entered, or will soon be entering the work force. And they have no idea how to invest, save, or handle their money.
Young people today come out of school having had little or no formal education on the basics of money management. Many have large debts from student loans looming over their heads. And many feel confused and powerless when their pricey educations don't translate into high paying jobs. They feel that their $30,000-$40,000 salary is too meager to bother with investing, and they constantly fear that there will be "too much month left at the end of their money."
Douglas R. Andrew has shown the parents of this generation a different pathway to financial freedom. Now Doug and his sons, Emron and Aaron - both of whom are in their mid-20s - show the under-30 crowd how they can break from traditional 401k investment plans and instead can find a better way by investing in real estate, budgeting effectively, avoiding unnecessary taxes and using life insurance to create tax-free income.
With the principles outlined in Millionaire by Thirty, recent graduates will be earning enough interest on their savings to meet their basic living expenses by the time they're 30. And by the time they're 35, their investments will be earning more money than they are, guaranteeing them a happy, wealthy future.

Millionaire by Thirty
I have read many financial book and this was by far one of the worst. I received more valuable information from my insurance agent and accountant. This book could have been recorded in less than one hour if the links to Mr. Andrew's website were not repeated after every sentence. I almost bought his other two books while purchasing this one, thank GOD I decided to wait. Don't waste your money or credits.

I wish there was an Abridged Copy
The information/strategy presented is interesting and I'll be backing it up with further research. Three-stars because the book authors (also the reader) seemed to just be filling time. I put the iPod on double speed to slog through the fluff to get to the meat.

VALUE BEYOND BELIEF!!
I was blown away by the information contained in this book! Why the general public are being lied to and deceived into putting their money into risky & barely performing “assets” & retirement account vehicles is absolutely is crazy! What an eye-opener! I highly recommend this book to anybody who cares about their future financial well-being! There’s also some hidden gems on personal life ‘ family enrichment as well!

What I Shoulda-Woulda-Coulda Done B4 30!
This audible book took a while to get started which may loose today's millenials, but once the descriptions were done, there were gems dropped at every turn. Personal stories, great examples and metaphors throughout made for an excellent book.

Mind Opening
loved this book and changed my entire perspective on investing and equity. I always thought a 15year mortgage and pay it off quick was the best, not anymore.

Read This Book In 2019 - it was just meh for me
I love the idea but couldn't take it seriously due to the number of times they me thinned PDAs lol. I would be open to an updated version. I do want to say that I am actively digging deeper into 2 of my favorite topics discussed in this book which are 1) leveraging equity in your home and making it liquid and readily available and 2) maximum funded tax advantaged insurance contracts for death and tax free retirement benefits.

good for young people
it reminded me of 50's style instructional videos at times. Good information, could have elaborated on the kind of investments that give the 7 & 8 percent returns mentioned throughout this book.
