About this listen
Dr. Jane Goodall's revolutionary study of chimpanzees in Tanzania's Gombe preserve forever altered the very, definition of humanity. Now, in a poignant and insightful memoir, Jane Goodall explores her extraordinary life and personal spiritual odyssey, with observations as profound as the knowledge she has brought back from the forest.©2000 Jane Goodall; (P) and ©1999 Time Warner AudioBooks (Packaging Elements Only), A Division of Time Warner Trade Publishing
We know the good work she did in Africa with Chimps. But what caught my attention is that you donot have to be a PHD to do these seminal studies. All you need is a passion and compassion.
No where she portrays herself as a hero in the book but you get a sense of what common people who follow a dream can achieve. Her conclusion of the message she interpreted from God in her childhood that propelled her to such an outstanding life’s journey is so inspiring.
Will definitely recommend this book for people in this troubled time where we are losing faith in our future.
